INTRODUCING THE DOUBLE CLEANSE – CLEANSING BUTTER BALM
The Double Cleanse is a natural luxurious rose gold, coconut and berry makeup remover and buttery cleansing balm.
Cleansing properly is the foundation of good facial skincare – it’s one of my #1 tips to help improve problematic skin, so it was only fitting we formulated the perfect product for it. Double cleansing provides a deeper clean, allowing your other skincare products, like serums, mists and moisturisers to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin and work much more effectively.
The Double Cleanse is a balm-to-milk cleanser which is challenging to achieve within a natural yet effective formulation – but not for us! A balm-to-milk cleanser means that once this product comes in to contact with water, it immediately emulsifies and turns into a milk.
This decadent cleanser effortlessly melts away makeup, sunscreen, dirt and impurities as it transforms from a soft buttery balm into a milk. Ever so gently yet deeply cleansing without stripping the skin. It is the perfect cleanser, pre-cleanser or double cleanser.
Formulated with nourishing, repairing, soothing and antioxidant rich plant oils and Amazonian Cupuacu Butter, resulting in freshly cleansed, hydrated, smooth and glowing skin. Free from synthetic emulsifiers, PEG’s and essential oils, it is suitable for sensitive skin and like all our products… Quite Frankly, it’s Natural!
MEET THE NATURAL INGREDIENTS INSIDE THE DOUBLE CLEANSE
Theobroma Grandiflorum (Cupuacu) Seed Butter
Soothes the skin and retains moisture
Consisting of similar nourishing and healing properties to lanolin, yet far less sensitising and a vegan alternative. It has a strong ability to penetrate and soothe the skin, improve elasticity and retain moisture. It can absorb up to 440% of its weight in water and therefore has super hydrating and plumping effects. It may help to protect and improve the skin’s barrier function and reduce Transepidermal Water Loss (TEWL). Rich in fatty acids, phytosterols and anti-oxidants, helping to fight free radical damage and may help improve the look and feel of dry, ageing and damaged skin.
Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil
Improves the look and feel of ageing and problem skin
An excellent and luxurious emollient, light and rich in texture and has intensive moisturising and soothing capabilities. Rich in vitamin E, oleic acid, anti-oxidants and anti-ageing properties which may help improve the look and feel of ageing and problem skin and may help protect from environmental and blue light damage.
Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil
Strong anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties
High in Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) and contains strong anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. It is a potent, natural emollient which may help promote skin elasticity and collagen production and contains strong healing, calming, soothing and moisturising capabilities. *
READY TO TRY IT?
With clean and dry hands, dollop the butter into your palm with the spatula provided. Massage the butter onto dry skin in circular motions for 1 minute. Emulsify and gently remove with plenty of tepid water and for best results we recommend using it in conjunction with our Bamboo Facial Cleansing Pads. Use morning and/or night. Then follow with our Facial Balancing or Revitalising Daily Foaming Cleanser and Silver Perfecting Creams for best results.
